Gustav Otto Conrad Willius

Gustav Willius was one year younger than his brother, Ferdinand. They grew up together and both emigrated to America and settled in St. Paul Minnesota. As adults they were in the banking business together. Therefore much of the material on the website dealing with Ferdinand also applies to Gustav.

Frieda's Scrapbook

Picture
The following picture of Gustav and Ferdinand's families is undated but was probably taken around the very first part of the 20th Century judging from the ages of the children. The next picture showing the two families together was taken in 2005 when we met to get to know each other at the home of Dan Willius.

Letters between Martha Claussen and Frederick Willius

The "Edgar" referred to in a couple of the letters as the translator of 'The Wine Song" is Edgar Herrmann.
