The Ancestral Home: The Clarenburg

The last pages of Frieda's scrapbook are devoted to a description of the Clarenberg in Wesseling, near Cologne. The Clarenburg was the home of Henriette Waldthausen Holterhoff and her husband, Robert, from 1844 until their emigration to America in 1850. it is where Clara Holterhoff Willius spent her childhood.
