Waldthausen Relatives

These are pages from Frieda's Scrapbook on the Waldthausen family. As you can see, the scrapbook is not in good shape. The pages are rough brown paper which are clipped into a binder. Unfortunately Frieda used glue to paste the photographs and her typed explanations onto the brown pages. Marks from the glue show in some places and the glue and pages are not archival. The following photographs are of Henriette's father and her brother, Otto Waldthausen, his family and descendants.

The next few pages of the scrapbook are about the Engel and Suswind families. They are descendants of Otto Waldthausen and his wife, Mathilda Kleberger Waldthausen. To see the relationship, you can go to the Essener Branch of the Family Chart  where you will find their names on the family tree. Frieda visited The Engel and Suswind relatives on a trip she took to Germany with her sister, Clara and her mother and father Martha and Oscar Claussen. Martha is the daughter of Clara and Ferdinand Willius.

The next group of photos are of descendants of Henriette's uncles, Johann Conrad Christian Waldthausen [205] and Johann friedrich Waldthausen [233].
